Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using CarrierLinq.

Effective Date: February 17, 2026

1. Platform Role

CarrierLinq is a directory and matching platform operated by CarrierLinq LLC. We are not a freight broker, motor carrier, or freight forwarder as defined under 49 USC §13102. We are not a party to any transportation or shipment agreement between users.

  • CarrierLinq does not arrange transportation for compensation
  • CarrierLinq does not negotiate rates or contract terms
  • CarrierLinq does not issue bills of lading or shipping documents
  • The Carmack Amendment (49 USC §14706) does not apply to CarrierLinq
  • Any contracts, rates, or payments are exclusively between the parties involved

2. Subscription Tiers

CarrierLinq offers paid subscription plans for carriers and 3PL companies. Plan details, pricing, and features are available at carrierlinq.com/pricing. Subscriptions are billed monthly and may be canceled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days prior written notice to registered users.

3. AS-IS Disclaimer

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

4. No Guarantees

CarrierLinq makes no promise or guarantee of matches, business volume, response times, data accuracy, or platform uptime. We do not offer a service level agreement (SLA).

5. Verification Disclaimer

The "Verified" badge indicates that a carrier's USDOT number was found active in the FMCSA database at the time of lookup. CarrierLinq re-checks verified carriers against FMCSA on a recurring schedule and opens a compliance case when a re-check finds a problem, but re-checks run in batches and are neither continuous nor real-time. A carrier's authority or status may change between checks, and CarrierLinq does not guarantee that verified information remains current. CarrierLinq does not verify safety records, insurance adequacy, service quality, or financial stability. See our Trust & Safety page for full details.

6. No Reliance / No Endorsement

Presence on CarrierLinq does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of any kind. Users may not represent that CarrierLinq has guaranteed, recommended, or endorsed any carrier or 3PL company.

7. Mutual Release

You release CarrierLinq from any and all claims, demands, and damages arising from contracts, agreements, or business relationships formed through or discovered via the Platform.

8. User Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate profile information
  • Have authority to bind their company
  • Comply with FMCSA regulations and all applicable laws
  • Keep credentials and profile information current
  • Use the platform in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy

By creating an account and accepting these Terms, you consent to transact electronically. You agree that your electronic acceptance constitutes a binding agreement, equivalent to a handwritten signature, under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).

10. Contact Information Sharing & Use

Basic profile information (company name, verification status, service area, equipment, capabilities) is visible to all authenticated users for browsing and matching purposes. Detailed contact information (business email, owner name, EIN, FMCSA-sourced physical address) is shared between a 3PL and a carrier only after the carrier expresses interest on that 3PL's opportunity. By expressing interest, both parties consent to the exchange of their business contact details.

  • Use contact information solely for legitimate business purposes related to transportation/logistics work
  • Do not compile, redistribute, or resell contact information (e.g., marketing lists, lead databases)
  • CarrierLinq reserves the right to restrict or disable access to contact information if abuse is detected

11. Content & Data License

By creating a profile, you grant CarrierLinq a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display your company name, profile information, capabilities, and service area for the purpose of operating the platform.

12. Limitations of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARRIERLINQ'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD. IN NO EVENT SHALL CARRIERLINQ BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CARGO LOSS OR DAMAGE, LOST PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CarrierLinq and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from: (a) your shipment agreements or transportation contracts; (b) cargo loss or damage claims; (c) misrepresentations in your profile; (d) regulatory compliance failures; or (e) your use of the platform in violation of these Terms.

14. Termination / Suspension

CarrierLinq may suspend or terminate your account at any time for: fraud, misrepresentation, unsafe behavior, harassment, violations of the Acceptable Use Policy, or any conduct that threatens the integrity of the platform.

15. General Provisions

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Delaware, at CarrierLinq's election.

Modifications

We may update these Terms with notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

Role-Specific Addenda

If you register as a Carrier, the Carrier Addendum is incorporated into these Terms. If you register as a 3PL, the 3PL Addendum is incorporated into these Terms.
